'Hu'

O,C,Fe, U, Al, N, H, He, Ag, Ni, Pl, Ni, ect.........

All elements. There is an element not listed in any science book or on the periodic table of elements. The element it 'Hu', the Human Element. The human element it probably to me one of the most important elements that we have in that it is use that shapes the other elements. What makes Oxygen important? What makes H2O important? We shape iron to build our buildings. We use uranium to power our homes. There is so much we do here that shapes what's around us. But what is around us also shapes us as well.

Mother Natures has a way of effecting us. Everyday, the weather dictates what we do. Do we go out or stay in? What happens when there is a bigger issue arrives.

"‎"HURRICANE KATRINA... A MOST POWERFUL HURRICANE WITH UNPRECEDENTED STRENGTH... RIVALING THE INTENSITY OF HURRICANE CAMILLE OF 1969. MOST OF THE AREA WILL BE UNINHABITABLE FOR WEEKS... PERHAPS LONGER. AT LEAST ONE HALF OF WELL CONSTRUCTED HOMES WILL HAVE ROOF AND WALL FAILURE. ALL GABLED ROOFS WILL FAIL...LEAVING THOSE HOMES SEVERELY DAMAGED... OR DESTROYED." ~Hurricane Warning from Slidell Forecast Office, 8/25/05"

‎"SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA SEEMS POISED FOR A DATE WITH DESTINY AS CATEGORY 5 HURRICANE KATRINA CONTINUES TO KEEP A BEAD ON BARATARIA BAY AND THE GREATER NEW ORLEANS AREA...GOOD LUCK AND GODSPEED TO ALL IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM." ~Slidell Weather Forecast Office Forecast Discussion from the night before Katrina

"...THIS IS A PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION...

DESTRUCTIVE TORNADOES...LARGE HAIL TO 4 INCHES IN DIAMETER...
THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 80 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE
POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS." ~ NWS SPC Tornado Watch 147 May 10, 2010

"...like throwing gasoline on a fire, a dying Hurricane Grace delivered immeasurable tropical energy to create the perfect storm."– Robert Case, NWS Boston

"WOW...WHAT A DAY. MANY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO THOSE IMPACTED
BY WEDNESDAYS HISTORIC TORNADIC OUTBREAK ACROSS THE STATE.

TRYING TO WRITE A DISCUSSION AFTER SUCH AN ACTIVE DAY IS QUITE DIFFICULT. HOWEVER THE WEATHER NEVER ENDS AND WE MUST CONTINUE." ~ NWS Birmingham April 27, 2011

These are messages from National Weather Offices across the nation in different situations. These are not written with a bunch of words that people cant understand, these are written to drive a message home. Plain and simple. These are for people to read and understand. I have listened to 911 calls in Biloxi Mississippi during Katrina, you hear the fear and panic when people realize that they may die. "... the water is rising and I have 2 kids and we have no where to go.....""......Tell my family I love them. (phone line goes dead)". Science and math can only take us so far. Warning are improving but to a point where we wont listen if we dont see or feel a threat.

Joplin Missouri, 160 souls lost. Sirens went off 28 minutes before the tornado entered town. 28 minutes of warning. 28 minutes to live. Some people did not listen considering there were still blue skies and did not seek shelter right away (survivors say, other people did seek shelter and still did not survive due to the violent nature of the storm). Science and technology can only take us so far before the Human Element takes over.
